“SATURDAY 20th JULY – 50th Anniversary of the first Moon Landing”. The Rollright Trust and the Stratford Festival Orchestra and choir will be presenting ‘ MOON STONES ‘ at the Rollright Stones , an evening of music and astronomy to celebrate Apollo 11’s descent and landing on the Moon , 50 years ago to the day. Up to 300 people expected to this ticketed only event , tickets available from the Theatre box office and online from April the 8th , £15 single and £40 family. Licensed bar and facilities on site. Car parking close to Kings Stone field . Concert scheduled to start at 8 and finish approx 9.30 ,with interval. Moonrise is not until 11.20 so there will be other activities after the concert . All proceeds to go to Stratford Festival Orchestra and the Rollright Trust. If clear CNAAG will be solar observing from the afternoon.
